
Paganini Centre
Scientific research, didactics and activities about diffusing information constitute the mission of the Paganini Centre, which the Association Friends of Paganini APS has strongly pursued and created in collaboration with the Municipality of Genoa.
Founded in 2020, the Paganini Centre makes available a rich archive to musicologists and researchers and is a reference point for all enthusiasts who follow the progress of the international studies about Paganini. A relevant quantity of materials is already available on the website of the Centre, which is being constantly updated.
Other objectives of the Paganini Centre are:
- didactic plans for different school ranges and various user groups;
- incentive and support to third parties for new research activities;
- creation and coordination of an international network of experts about Paganini;
- preparation of critical editions of Paganini’s music not yet available to musicians.
The Paganini Centre is directed by Roberto Iovino, also Director of the Paganini Conservatory and Artistic Director of the Paganini Prize, and projects are conducted under the guidance of a Scientific Committee composed by Mariateresa Dellaborra, Vittorio Marchese, Flavio Menardi Noguera, Danilo Prefumo, Anna Sorrento, Michele Trenti, Italo Vescovo.
